
Physiological and psychological symptoms
are associated with fibromyalgia. According to Wolfe (1990), here is
the list of symptoms typically associated with fibromyalgia:
Diffuse pain (98 % of patients)
Pain on palpation of at least 11 of the 18 tender points (90 % of patients)
Fatigue (81 % of patients)
Morning stiffness (77 % of patients)
Sleeping disorders (75 % of patients)
Headaches (53 % of patients)
Anxiety (48 % of patients)
Depression (32% of patients)
Irritable bowel (32 % of patients)
Temporo-mandibular dsysfunction (25 % of patients)
